    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class was a wonderful mix of basic psych theory and applied advice. You'll learn how to think like a psychologist and evaluate psychological arguments, which is helpful for a wide range of students from future psychologists to pre-meds to business majors.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Peck made the content very applied by asking us to think of ways that the theories we studied were apparent in our own lives. Be prepared for an active, participatory class that sets you up well for future psych classes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This is a class where attendance is absolutely worth your while--I barely studied because our class lectures and discussions were so thorough. Dr. Peck used fill-in-the-blank notes, and if you study those, you'll be good for the test. Just come interested in learning some psychology and it won't be hard.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I have learned a lot in this course. Psychology is very complicated and I understood how much information it contains by taking this course.

    Course highlights:

Not only have I learned that i want to pursue a career pertaining to psych, I have learned how important it is to study and read the textbook.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, you have to go to class. You also have to get the textbook and read each chapter twice, as well as outline the chapter. Do the quizzes at the end of the chapters and complete the study guides that he posts on Angel.
