    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I really enjoyed the content of this course. It was very interesting to learn about the Deaf culture. The only problem that I had with this course was that I could barely ever get ahold of the professor to ask questions.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the Deaf culture and how Deaf people function in society. I learned about everything for the Deaf arts, cochlear implants, Deaf colleges and education, and Deaf history.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best thing I did to succeed in this course was using Quizlet. Creating note cards about the course questions that were on the exams really helped me learn the material and do well on the exams.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course explains Deaf culture and it's role in our society. It's very informative and interesting, and there is never a dull moment!

    Course highlights:

I learned about how the word deaf is medical terminology where as Deaf is an identity, culture, and community. In this course, so far we've explored the origin of deafness and the role of Deaf/Hearing children with Deaf/Hearing parents.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Participation is very important in this course. There are many discussion forums where your input is graded. There is also a lot of reading, so be sure to stay on top of it and take your own notes.
