Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am enjoying this class because of the way Dr. Farris runs it. She's very knowledgeable in the topic and it's very important for my major. We have weekly homework that keeps us on top of the material. The course includes two tests, a midterm and a final. Mostly, I enjoy this course because the material is important to humanity and it's great to understand.

    Course highlights:

I will be working with children the rest of my life, so the idea of human development is essential for my success. I learned a lot about how a child develops physically, emotional and mentally. This information will forever be important to me because my job as an educator is to figure out how children learn best.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Prepare to put some time in. Homework each week will take around 2-4 hours. Dr. Farris has some housekeeping rules that are mandatory, such as stapling papers and hard copies. Prepare to work hard but also to learn valuable material about human development.
