Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This was my favorite course I've taken so far for my Hospitality Management degree. I loved it so much because I felt like everything that I learned was useful information that I could use daily and not just in the hospitality industry. I also have an interest in psychology and the way humans interact with each other, so this course really touched on some of those interests that other hospitality courses hadn't.
I learned everything from how to keep employees motivated as a manager to why employees act the way they do and how to control a situation if/when it gets out of hand. It made it easy to learn everything in this course because I found it so interesting and useful. We all have those classes that teach us things we feel like we're never going to use at any point in life, but I definitely feel like everything I learned in this course is going to be useful at some point in my future career, no matter what it is.
Hours per week:
Advice for students:
I would recommend that you spend a few hours each week learning and reviewing each chapter in accordance with the class. It's really important to keep up with the material because it builds upon itself and it's more difficult to learn the material later on if you get behind.
