Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course specifically for those who are interested in soils or require soils for their major. The course itself was easy to follow along with and allowed an in depth understanding of the materials involved in soils.

    Course highlights:

Highlights from this course can include soil composition, history of soils, and formation of soils. These are key characteristics for landscape architects to know in order to design according to what is already preexisting on a site.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to put the time and effort into this course. From Dr. Loeb, the course is online and the pace of the course is strictly relying on you to get your work done. It’s easy to get behind in an online course, so keep on top of your work and submit assignments on time!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is incredibly helpful to any student in the agricultural field of study. Be it wildlife, turf science, animal science, or plant science, any student can find knowledge related to their major in this course. The professor is very helpful and makes the class enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

I learned just how important soils are to the various ecosystems of the world. Topics included soils orders, nutrient management, water and soil relationships, cation exchange capacity, and how soils can better the world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Print off and study the class notes. These notes are what the quizzes and tests consist of. They are also incredibly helpful for completing the homework. Also, complete the homework before the quizzes because sometimes quiz questions come from the homework.
