    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend taking this course with Professor Coupland if you plan on majoring marketing because she is the nicest professor for this class hands down. She wants her students to succeed and does a great job explaining concepts and all of her exams are straightforward if you have studied the material.

    Course highlights:

The best parts of this course were the real world examples she used to explain the different marketing concepts we were learning about. Professor Coupland would always use videos of companies exhibiting certain concepts and on the exam, these videos would help you remember what concept it was. We learned the basic concepts of marketing that successfully prepare you to move forward with marketing if you choose it as your major.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you go to class because participation does count and she gives more information to write in your notes that are not included in the course packet. Also, for each exam she gives you sample exam questions to answer and makes a podcast going over them so make sure to do this!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Its challenging but the lessons are a bit vague and lack examples. On one hand it is nice to be challenged to come up with unique solutions by thinking out of the box. But on the other hand when you fail a submission because of a lack of following a guideline, when the guideline was not expressed at the beginning can be frustrating.

    Course highlights:

The course was very challenging and felt I learned how to solve problems and think out of the box. These things are crucial when attacking marketing problems in the real world since there is no set rule book and the field of marketing is ever changing and evolving so developing that skill is crucial and I believe this class does a good job of getting that mindset established.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Think outside the box, research, and find a solution, don't get frustrated if you fail a assignment, just use it as a stepping stone to do better on the next one, the beginning is the hardest part. After you get a feel for it and how its structured it gets a lot easier.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The teacher has the most straightforward exams. The course materials, to be honest, is not attractive to me because I'm not a marketing major. but still good enough. Easy to get an A.

    Course highlights:

5% extra credits if attending research studies. Just a few assignments. NOT a lot of work.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just make sure review before the exams. Her questions are simple if you get all concepts clearly.
