Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took PHYS 001 at Penn State Brandywine with Dr. DP in my third semester. I took it to fulfill a science GEN ED requirement. This course is intended to be a basic introduction into the world of physics. Through out the semester you will learn the basic concepts needed to understand physics. However, the best part of this class was Dr. DP. She was very passionate about the material and explained it in a simple manner that was easy to understand.

    Course highlights:

Through out this course I learned a lot about the basic physics concepts. I really enjoyed learning about Newton's laws of motion and gravity. It was also great to learn about thermodynamics, as well as work, energy and power. Dr. DP made it fun to learn as she used a variety of strategies to get the concepts across, such as group work, movies and individual research.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course it is important to read the chapters assigned by the professor, in order to complete the assignments. It is important to complete the assignments in a timely manner in order to stay up to date with the class and get a good grade.
