    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is a good one for people who are very interested in biology as this course goes very in depth.

    Course highlights:

the plant life cycle, mitosis and meiosis

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

go to office hours and make sure you truly understand all material for exams in depth because the multiple choice exams are difficult and abstract

    | Would not recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course content itself is interesting, but I could not give it more than 1 star with the experience I had with this professor.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning the most common diseases an aging person experiences as these are things we could all very well experience in a few years. Learning the difference between the most common causes of death between now and in previous years was very interesting as it gave insight into what types of current causes of death could be cured in the near future.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are taking this course online, do all you can do avoid taking it with Dr.Strauss. With online courses, communication is such an important part of the experience and Dr.Strauss simply does not respond to any attempts to contact him. If you need any help at all you are completely on your own. If you have an issue on a time sensitive subject, your best bet is to call the course admin as she is very helpful and friendly.
