    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend taking this class with Dr Colledge if you have to take it! He's a really great teacher and makes the class really interesting.

    Course highlights:

This class focused on how to work as a team and how develop successful products through the design process.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be careful who you pick for your group because they can make or break your grade.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it gives the student a good insight in general engineering aspects and allows the student to work in groups and individually on projects. Since the term is shortened in the summer, it is more rigorous but it also provided ample time to learn the subjects and have fun doing it.

    Course highlights:

I learned engineering applications from the computer aspects, like using CAD and SolidWorks. I learned how to use the engineering design process and apply it to real life problems. I learned how to do multi-view drawings and scaling. Overall the course dabbled in a little bit of everything.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Remember, this course was over the summer so I had a 3 hour class everyday and then would probably spend about 10 hours a week on homework. It was only tough in the aspect that we were trying to learn a lot of things in a short amount of time but also you are given high expectations. I loved the course but yes sometimes it does get tough so I would tell incoming students to remind themselves that they are doing something they love and they will get through it. Plus professor Xinli Wu truly cares about his students learning the concepts. ALWAYS go to office hours. THEY HELP.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I probably wouldn't take him again. His grading style is hard. Lots of memorization for the final..

    Course highlights:

i would have rather had more time for other classes. I would recomend weinstock where there are midterms so the work is spread out throughout the qtr.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Easy to get screwed by Esparagozaivan at the end
