Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The amount of knowledge and information in this course still sticks with me a year later. Jason uses power points with audio to lecture but in simple terms. He makes the myths and Greek history understandable and interesting.

    Course highlights:

The art and pictures to tie into the lectures. I really learned what the myths were about and I can now speak intelligently about them

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the readings and listen to the audio as well as the slides. Keep up with the readings!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a really interesting and fun class! Not a lot of work at all (almost none) but quizzes every class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were learning where different words come from through myth. For example, I learned the myth where the word panic comes from!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class. There are attendance quizzes every class but they're 3 questions and super easy and affect your grade so go!!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this class online. It was hugely self-paced: 5 quizzes, 2 exams, a paper, and a weekly message board. Lectures were recorded audio/PPT but I just read the transcripts which were also available. There were a ton of online readings which were often tricky, but Jason did a great job of explaining them in the lectures. The course is not easy specailly if you are taking other courses because it is time consuming because of the readings are a lot and requires you to read all the materials or you will not do well on the quiz's and exams, but if you still want to take the course take CAMS045 with Jason!

    Course highlights:

i learned a lot of new materials that i didn't know about the greek mythology and i enjoyed the course because i was able to go back and read some of the reading he had assigned which was very entertaining and informative at the same time

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top all the required reading materials, they are inessential to your success in the class, i made the mistake of focusing more on the recorded lectures, even though the lectures were interesting they weren't helpful when it came to the quiz's and exams because nothing from the lecture will be on the exams so i recommend that you focus on the reading a lot more and if you have time after listen to the lectures. also on the exams he likes to ask small details from the readings from which you may have just no noticed so be careful, i suggest you take notes as you read.
