Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dave is a fantastic professor who knows his major extremely well. He comes off strong and will try to scare off students in the beginning just for fun. He is really not trying to fail you or make you have a hard time in the class, he just wants you to put in effort. I recommend going to his office hours and talking to him a few times a semester to make sure you study in the best possible way for you.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course include going to his office hours multiple times and having him give me different study tips to try to best ace his exams. Everyone learns in different ways, so he allowed me to try several methods and took the fault if I did not perform as well as we would have hoped. I learned that I wanted to major in Marketing from this professor and this course. The basics of marketing were very interesting, targeting the aspects of advertising and how companies highlight their positive traits.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are between maybe Supply Chain, Marketing, or any major for that matter, I would take this course. I took it my Freshman year, as it was required, but I would have taken it even if it wasn't. The creative aspect of this course and the intro to Marketing is very important. I was in between marketing and supply chain as my major, and this course ultimately helped me make my decision to choose marketing.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I very much so enjoy my marketing 301 course, and the main reason being was because of the hands on learning. Mrs. Clemente assigned our class to one partner per group and had to market a local business. Not only did I learn extreme depths to the business we had been assigned, but I walked away with excessive amounts of fresh knowledge through my professor, my partner, and our business partner.

    Course highlights:

Through this course I learned how to do a background sweep of a local company, get a feel for how they market their business, do their inventory, see how employees are hired and much more. I found this class to be incredible helpful towards my future and I very much look forward to having Mrs. Clemente in the future!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to incoming students, when an assignment is given, do not put it off. Like all assignments, haste is always waste and Mrs. Clemente's course work was to be given much thought and hard work, which made you appreciate your own work that much more.
