    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a required class for comp sci, comp eng, and possibly a few other majors, so it isn't a matter of recommendation, really. That said, you will lay the groundwork to understand data structures in programming here, an extremely important and thoroughly used concept.

    Course highlights:

You'll learn everything from constructing a linked list to even some heuristic solutions to graph traversal, coloring, and other interesting computer science topics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you haven't learned how to effectively navigate extremely difficult courses, this is where you'll learn or drop. Christman assigns quite a bit of coursework, and very difficult work at that. Expect to show up to office hours, and keeping up with the daily practices is not as optional as it seems. The class is absolutely doable, but it will be difficult, ASK FOR HELP IF YOU NEED IT!

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is vague in the assignment description. He can't teach well and mumbles half the time.

    Course highlights:

The professor explains better if you attend the office hours. The TA's office hours and coding session are helpful and they guide you to the answers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not start the homework the day before. It is mentally exhausting. The lectures are not that helpful but the daily practice questions is recommended. They appear on the exams.
