    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course as it showed me the science behind nutrition recommendations. An example would be the US 2015 Dietary Recommendations. There are many other disease specific recommendations that are science based. It has helped keep me out of the squirrelly world of online and popular nutrition nonsense. I can count on this info to allow me to help my clients.

    Course highlights:

Understanding different disease states and their etiology. Recognizing the clinical aspects of various diseases and being better prepared to offer nutrition recommendations to patients/clients.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Only take this course if you are intending to work with individuals or groups with the various disease states or if you wish to help prevent various nutrition related diseases.
