Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Criminology is an amazing course because not only does it focus on crime it strives to learn the mental process that transpires in an individuals mind that leads them to commit a crime. If you can learn why a person commits a crime, you can stop them from committing other crimes in the future.

    Course highlights:

I learned that crime is a result not of individual thinking, but the result of influences that derive from the environment. No one is born bad, they learn other to be bad cause of the environment they're being placed in.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to read a lot and study a lot. Take advantage of this course, it truly makes you view things differently in life.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because the teacher was amazing and she actually worked with us to understand the material. She didn't just lecture and then give exams, no she explained everything with real life examples and gave everyone a chance to succeed in her class. The documentaries she made us watch in class wrapped up everything we talked about in class and put it in real life. The hing was the documentaries was true stories not nothing made up which made it that much better.

    Course highlights:

I learned what social deviance was and why some criminal activity stays in one place. I learned that when one doesn't have access to the basic needs of survival they are more likely turn illegal activity to get it. In this country they let you believe there is equal opportunity for everyone bu that's not true at all. This class open my eyes to a lot of mistreatment in the world. Its not black and white this world, its all shades of gray.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise you to get the textbook suggested because if you read he chapters you supposed o before the next class you have a greater understanding of it when she goes over it in class in a outline. Plus she does pop quizzes to make sure your reading along as well.
