Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Not only was professor Rosenberg extremely well knowledge in the material he was teaching he made the boring subject of accounting one of the most interesting and amusing classes I have ever been in. No teacher I have ever had has so thoroughly explained a subject as he did.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were professor Rosenberg's excitement and enthusiasm for making sure we understood every detail of the accounting principles and even provided real world examples which helped make sense of it all even more. If you have the opportunity to attend his lecture don't be surprised to here him screaming PAYABLE at least 4 times a lecture.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do the homework, slaving over those accounting statements will be worth it come exams and definitely make flash cards for each individual slide of his powerpoints.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

ACCTG 211 is an excellent starting course in anyone interested in finding out more about majoring in accounting.

    Course highlights:

The information that I learned in ACCTG 211 exposed me to a whole new element of business, and helped me realize that I love accounting, and wanted to major in it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read. Read. Read. This is a class that you must buy the book for, and you must read every chapter. If you dont read, the class will prove to be very difficult for you. It can be tedious if you do not enjoy the material, but if you enjoy it, its a walk in the park.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the instructor is cautious and caring for her students! She takes the time to make sure her students feel prepared, she answers student questions thoroughly, and she prepares you well for the exam if you attend class and put forth your effort!

    Course highlights:

When you take this course you not only learning about accounting, but she also takes the time to educate you about the future. She presents her wisdom and life experience when she gets a chance! There is something to always take away from this knowledgeable professor. BUT, if we are solely basing my knowledge on the education she brought to our class then I would say I gained the understanding and importance of how integral it is to understand how your money works and why/how it will effect you in the future.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend attending every single class! It is only twice a week for a little over an hour, so everything she has to say is valuable! Also, it is extremely important for your success to take the time to study outside of class.
