    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is a prerequisite for all communications students, but it is a class I think can help many different majors when it comes to networking, researching, as well as writing. Professor Jeff Rice is a great teacher who allows each student to use real life examples and topics they are interested in within the real world. I would not have considered myself a writer, but after this course I learned the ins and outs to reporting and began to love this part of journalism.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would have to be being able to have class out on the field interviewing your peers on topics given to you by your professor, but also topics you developed on your own.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice I would give to students considering this course is do not be afraid of this course if you do not consider your a writer. If you complete assignments on time, and write about something you are interested in, you will do great. Plan ahead with sources and interviews so your papers display your best work of the topic you pick.
