Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Organic chemistry is a course no one wants to take, but a lot of people have to. If you have the option, take this class with Dr. Masters at Penn State. The homework is online and super helpful, there are six quizzes instead of exams, and LOTS of opportunities for out-of-class tutoring and group sessions.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed that of the six quizzes in the class, one was dropped. It was reassuring to know that if you did badly on one, it wasn't the end of the world. Also, the review sessions with the TAs were incredibly helpful in understanding the material and preparing for quizzes

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the TA review sessions! You get extra credit and they are really helpful. You essentially work on problems during the review (alone or in a group), and get answers and explanations from the TAs.
