    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a requirement for Biomedical Engineering. If you are in this major you have to take it. It is a tough course for the way it is organized. The professor is pretty unorganized, even though he is fair. It took me too long to realize that the best tool in this course ifs re watching his lectures. Do this and I promise you'll do good.

    Course highlights:

The highlight was very vast knowledge even though it isn't extremely specific. However the professor is knowledgeable and the TAs do a great job helping out in office hours. I very much enjoyed learning details of DNA synthesis and Polymerized Chain Reactions. Another highlight for me was his lectures on cancer, and how it is seen in so many processes throughout the body.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Re-watching lectures over and over. Try to find outside references to better understand the material, even though most of it is covered previously it can still be confusing. Seek help early and often to stay up to par with the pace. Seek office hours, they are extremely helpful with homework.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend going through the course material after every lecture so you do not get overwhelmed before an exam.

    Course highlights:

You learn a lot about the field of Biomedical Engineering from devices used to a lot of life stories from the professor.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, Study, Study! Review the material after each lecture and truly understand it.
