    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class was absolutely amazing. I took this to satisfy my gen ed arts requirement, but this class quickly became so much more than that. It was lively, fun, and interesting. It made me realize that there is so much more behind the scenes when it comes to acting. In a way, this course actually made me realize a little more about myself and my emotions and made me analyze why people react the way they do, because you have to get emotional reactions just right.

    Course highlights:

Collaborating with others is what makes this course worthwhile. It can also get pretty funny, because you see people coming out of their shell in order to convey the emotion they need to put forward. This class not only taught me about theatre, but it taught me more about myself.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice! That's definitely the biggest thing. There are parts you need to memorize and if you don't practice them, you'll lose them. Meeting outside of class is also a big piece of it; if you want to perfect the timing and the emotion, that is absolutely a must.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class. It was such a new experience.

    Course highlights:

I gained confidence within myself. We had so many acting games that made you step out of your shell and just get comfortable with everyone around you. I learned great acting skills and learned to trust myself and my own art.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be yourself. Go into class with an open mind and be willing to just step out of your comfort zone.
