    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you don't need to take the writing intensive class, I wouldn't recommend it. The amount of lab reports that need to be written is very intense, especially if you're taking a lot of other "hard" classes.

    Course highlights:

The class helped me learn basic laboratory disciplines. The actual class was very fun, I enjoyed the lab, but the homework ruined the course for me. I liked learning about recrystallization (one of the labs you will do). You'll like the class but hate the homework.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Get ahead. Don't wait to write the lab reports until the night before. Chances are it will take you between 8-12 hours to write, along with the other homework you will have, it will be a long night
