    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is filled with material that will keep your attention throughout even the longest class. However, one should know it is a course based in the concepts of science.

    Course highlights:

The most interesting topics we have discussed is global warming, appeal to authority in science, appeal to conspiracy in science, and the importance of vaccinations.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Revisit the notes online. Utilize the TA's, the study sessions, and the office hours. Most importantly, absolutely do the blog posts.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Andrew was an incredible instructor who cared much more about us thinking critically than just reciting memorized facts.

    Course highlights:

A highlight of the course for me was when we talk about "Can Prayer Heal?" in a scientific sense. I personally am not very religious, but from a scientific stand point it was interesting to see how people's faith correlated with the rate at which they got better.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't wait until the last minute to do assignments, it might sound easy to wait, but the class is designed in a fashion where waiting can only lower your grade.
