Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

A bit challenging for a gen ed class. Would not recommend if you are not highly interested in the topic. I was required to take this class for my major. Definitely wasn't awful, but slightly confusing at times.

    Course highlights:

I gained a new view on economics. This class prepared me for my major and the following class econ 104. Dave was a great professor! interesting lectures!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the homework and go to the guided study group if you're confused on the topic discussed in class that day.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Owens was very easy to understand! He explained everything so well, would definitely recommend this class! Tests weren't hard if you studied. He recommends the book, but also says use you're judgement, since this is an economics class. You must decide whether it'll be worth it for you! By far favorite class!

    Course highlights:

I learned about the economics of small businesses and firms. Owens used many graphs that helped to explain the lessons very well. He also used powerpoint and gave us study problems to help us prepare for the tests.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Buy the book! I didn't buy it and ended with a B in the class but if I had the book I would've had more info to help me succeed! It was somewhat expensive but it would've been worth it!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class because it is a great introductory class to microeconomics. The discussions are great!

    Course highlights:

The highlights would definitely be the discussions! It helped me to ace my tests and finals.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class! It's the most important advice. Everything is done in class--he doesn't give handouts or homework--so if you miss a class, you should definitely get notes from a friend.
