    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you're interested in becoming an accounting major, this class is for you. Instead of just having multiple choice exams, in the honors exams there is an open ended portion where you have to actually make a balance sheet and do the cash flows. Definitely more work than regular accounting, but it's worth it because you actually learn what to do in real life accounting situations!

    Course highlights:

Scott Collins was really helpful, I would go to his office hours once every few weeks and he would really help clear things up for me. He definitely held everyone to a high standard. I learned how to do the statement of cash flows, make a balance sheet and do the steps of an income statement.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the work and keep up with the topic you are on. If you fall behind, it's really difficult to participate, and you want to participate because it helps your final grade.
