    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is extremely beneficial to anybody interested in sports. Jeff provides resources for internships and other careers in sports, and there are also 3-4 guest speakers throughout the semester.

    Course highlights:

The greatest parts of the course were definitely the presentations and the guest speakers. Also, the last class lecture day is completely devoted to careers in sports. Jeff will give you resources for applying to different teams and sports organizations for full-time and internship opportunities.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Overall, the course is not very difficult, and the exams are rather easy. However, the projects/presentations can be time-consuming, so make sure you set up meetings with your teams and manage your time. But this shouldn't be more than 2 hours each week.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

If you're interested in working in the sports industry, this is the right course for you. Jeff really knows how to connect with his students, and he makes lectures entertaining with his jokes/humor. Ultimately, I always enjoyed coming to class each week!

    Course highlights:

There were three guest speakers throughout the semester, including the Chief Marketing Officer of the United States Olympic Committee, Lisa Baird. Additionally, you spend an entire lecture during this course talking about careers in sports, and Jeff even gives his students website links for applying to various jobs in the sports industry. Overall, it had the greatest impact on my student career in determining my career path!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Overall, there were three exams in this course. The exams were not very difficult, and you WILL do well if you simply study the PowerPoint slides and read the case studies that he provides. Every exam consisted of multiple choices questions and a short true/false section. You have a great chance of getting an A on each exam if you study 4-5 hours for each exam.
