Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this course through the college but I was a concurrent student with the high school so I really took it at the high school.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were that I was able to experience a college course while being in high school still.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take this until you have to if you aren't good at math, this course can be a struggle for people that aren't good at algebra.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teaching style of the professor was not conducive to high understanding environment. I had to teach myself more of the topics than were taught to me by my professor. Yet, she was a friendly person and somewhat approachable.

    Course highlights:

Most of what we were taught was review for me. It was basic algebra and an introductory amount of pre-calculus.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay close attention to what is being taught. Ask several questions. Do not be afraid to seek outside help if you still do not understand.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor, was very energetic, knew her content well, and was clear about expectations and what was needed to complete the course with success

    Course highlights:

Professor was very careful to cover all required material in relationship to College Algebra, including functions, quadratics, and other components necessary for the mastery of the subject.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If you take it during the summer, you HAVE to have more than 12 hours a week available for homework or you will not learn the material well enough to pass.
