    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Principles of accounting was a very difficult class. It was very challenging being an online class. There was hardly any teacher student interaction, relying heavily on the student to navigate the very confusing class website. The most difficult aspect of this accounting class was "My Accounting Lab," the class homework and test website. It was very confusing to navigate and do home work and test because the answers had to be specialty tailored being all online; lacking the benefit of having an in class teacher to asses fluctuating answers and questions.

    Course highlights:

As a whole this Accounting course did not have many highlight, but did teach me a valuable lesson. This course taught me never to under estimate a class or assume that the class teacher will aid you in every problem you may be having in their course. This class has also prepared me greatly for college and all of its hardships. In conclusion am not so pleased with how the class turned out and that it was not at all what I expected it to be, but it has made me a better person by improving my work ethic and drive to succeed.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to students looking into or going to take this accounting course in the future would be not to underestimate this class and to work very hard from the beginning of the semester. I would also recommend asking a fellow student or teacher for help studying or getting a tutor if you are struggling in this class, it can really pay off.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Very competent teaching method. Clear, concise. Works with students. If you do the online work and organize your notes you will do well.

    Course highlights:

    Financial accounting, spreadsheets.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Organize your notes, don't skip the online work.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Swango is a great professor who is really helpful to his students and always willing to take the time to help them when needed.

    Course highlights:

This course mostly focuses on the Managerial Accounting, which has to do with the inter workings of a business. It is quite a bit different from Financial Accounting, but I enjoyed it!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to stay up to date on your classwork and final assignments. The tests can be difficult if you aren't fully prepared.
