    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it gives important information regarding the history of Africans, slavery, and impact many Africans had in America, Europe, and the Caribbean. This course also went in depth with information, unlike high school courses.

    Course highlights:

Through taking this course I learned in greater details about the trade routes for slavery. I also learned about indentured servants that discovered oceans and states. I also learned how to compose important information and share it without sharing everything. Lastly, I learned words that I have seen and used often such as exacerbate and ameliorate .

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to listen very carefully to the professor. There may be information that may be mentioned in class and as a student it is your responsibility to decipher what is important and what is not. Also when the professor writes something on the board write it down. Lastly, bring your book to class everyday because one never knows when there will be a book check.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course for anyone who simply wants to understand the African American culture and their history in the United States.

    Course highlights:

I have learned so much more than I would easily admit. I love music as well as dancing, but I never really knew where they rooted from until I took this course. I even learned how discrimination based on skin color is a huge problem in this country. Not only was I learning history, I was actually developing my reading skills from all the readings we were assigned.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

It is hard but if you do what you have to do, you will be fine. If you need extra help, find a tutor like I did. Good Luck !
