Great Intro to the Subject
Requires Lots of Research
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I would strongly recommend this course because of its capacity to educate students about the scientific study of plants, including their physiology, structure, genetics, ecology, distribution, classification, and economic importance. It is a very hands on class that is accompanied by a weekly lab that challenges the student to think outside the box and get more close and in person with our co-dependent living species.
The highlight of this course was the lab that consisted of doing a leaf project. This project required students to go out into the natural local environment and collect the leaves of different plants and trees and do a quick background of each. I learned so much about the different trees and plants that grow in the local communities throughout South Carolina.
