Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course for anyone that is willing to actually do the work that is assigned for after class. That is the only way you will do well in the course. That being said, it is an amazing class that teaches so much about Latin America and the Caribbean that will widen your world views and possibly even make you want to continue your LACS studies. It really is an eye opening course.

    Course highlights:

Before going into this course, I had no prior in-depth knowledge about this material. But once I started learning, it was an eye opener to so much information is not brought out in the media or in other history courses throughout schooling. Learning about many different cultures and their struggles is also a humbling experience.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely do your homework, please do it. That is seriously the only way you will get all the necessary material for the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great course, that provides many important perspectives and view about the Americas and the "discovery" of the New World. Overall very informative and you will learn much culturally.

    Course highlights:

Again just the history, culture, and life of the Americas and Caribbean. Opens your eyes to the lies and misinterpretations told by the conquerors of the land.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Participate in class, be engaged in the discussion and really think about the topics the course requires analytical skills because its interdisciplinary. Also just enjoy it as much as you can and dig deeper than the class requires.
