    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is one of my major requirements and before taking this class I had absolutely no interest in accounting mainly because I didn't know a lot about the subject. Professor Burbage taught us a lot of the basics of accounting which will help us succeed in future accounting courses.

    Course highlights:

This class not only taught me about accounting but also taught me new study habits that I had not known before. At first this class was difficult to study for because of the way the material is however, throughout the course I adapted to the material and found study habits that worked best for me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is essential that you attend each and every class because if not, it is easy to fall behind and get confused. Each class is a building block to the next one so when you decide to miss class, you will be confused on the information that is being taught during the following classes. Students who did not succeed in this class were the ones that chose to skip class often.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor spade eloquently describes all the material in real-time, real-life scenarios. He is very flexible and will always make time to speak one-on-one with you if need be. I definitely would recommend him to anyone taking their first accounting class.

    Course highlights:

You will be able to create balance sheets, income statements, statements of retained earnings, amoung other transaction analysis sheets. You will be able to record all adjustments to spreadsheets, and account for depreciation in real terms for certain situations.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Sit in the front of the class! He definitely makes things easy to understand, but only if you can really see what's going on in class. Do ALL the homework. He is serious when he says that "you will not pass this class if you don't do homework".
