Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is very helpful in not only learning about current policy in education, but also the history of education. Dr. Hale gives information that also relates to the College of Charleston and the state of South Carolina, so you get to learn more about the place that you live in, which is very interesting.

    Course highlights:

I gained so much knowledge about the history of education and how long it took us to get to where we are now in the field of education. I learned how to apply different teaching techniques in the classroom and how to address different scenarios in the classroom.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to attend class in order to get in-depth notes because Dr. Hale does not include everything on his slides. You must also make study guides before each test because they are very lengthy. Make sure to pay attention because he also calls on students randomly and if you do not know the answer, he makes sure to take note of that.
