Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I throughly enjoyed taking English 101 with Professor Klimek. English 101 pushes you to areas you never knew about. You have to dig deep inside to find an original and unique response instead of simply answering a question with yes or no. It really pushes your creativity and writing style.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course was my research paper about the school system and how they treat minority students. Our textbook Rereading America covered a lot of topics about our school systems and minorities that I created a true passion for. I learned about the different type of school systems in poverty and how they teach their students to prepare them for blue collared jobs such as a cashier, custodian, etc instead of college.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

When taking the course do not come in with the attitude that it's going to be easy. If you are given a question to answer on the assignment and you believe the question seems easy, do not answer in 1 or 2 sentences. The Professor is aware that the question is easy, he or she is looking for an in depth answers the covers all points and is creative.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a lot of work but my papers and reading composition have grown in such a large manner since the beginning of the course. I love English and I am happy with the progress I am able to see in myself.

    Course highlights:

I was always bad at reading composition, I was able to learn how to memorize and keep detail fresh in my mind.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your reading, it can make or break you.
