Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great course because the teacher is transparent and loves the Old Testament. Because of that, it gives me a greater desire to learn and grow deeper in my walk with Christ and Bible knowledge. learning about the Bible in a classroom setting is very important in my opinion now.

    Course highlights:

The lectures were the best part. Another great aspect was gaining a lot through studying with others or working on EOTs.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the work, or even ahead. Always study and be in class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Not only does this course contain vital information in studying the deeper aspects of the Old Testament, but it also gives a greater understanding of the foundation upon which the New Testament was laid. Dr. Crutchfield using the stage and his talent to make each book interesting to his students, while also making the course difficult enough that students must put forth significant effort in order to make the grades they desire.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were both Dr. Crutchfield's wonderful acting for the purpose of bringing some Bible characters to life in his students' minds, and the times he created a serious air and addressed us as adults in whom he had a deep message to instill. While I learned so much about the books of the Bible, I also gained maturity and knowledge of proper personal conduct. I will be most grateful for this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In any college course, it is key to remain motivated. Without motivation, grades begin to slip, and attention fades. Beyond motivation, you must be committed to spending time studying and completing tasks. Some tasks will seem annoying and overly complicated, but they are worth the effort to learn. Keep in mind that the point in taking classes and paying to be at college is to learn, not to get some letters on a transcript. Grades are important, but learning even more so.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Crutchfield is an amazing professor. He is extremely passionate about his work and extremely knowledgeable in his field. However, the thing I loved the most was his passion for the actual students he wants everyone to achieve greater heights in their lives.

    Course highlights:

I learned a deeper understanding of the Old Testament of the Bible. The most helpful were the historical and geographical backgrounds of the old testament. The places in the Bible were not just fairy tales but they were real people and places and it was amazing to learn that.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Probably the biggest piece of advice is to review your notes daily. He gives you a workbook that has fill in the blank style notes, and if you just review them daily, you are guaranteed to do well.
