    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took this course at my local high school, which this website doesn't recognize, so I chose to use another school to use as my platform. This course was hard throughout the year. On average I would earn low B's ( approximately %80) to F's (%60). As I am generally a straight A student as an International Baccalaureate student, you can understand why I was frustrated. But our grades never suffered for long due to the many return points we earned doing tasks such as test corrections and extra help. The AP test left many of us nerve wracked and feeling despondent. But when it was revealed that over %50 of the class received 5's on the AP test (a perfect score) that we realized how our teacher was genius. She planned the year so that the AP test would happen without a problem.

    Course highlights:

I gained excellent study skills, and a larger outlook on the economy and how it affects my daily life. Since this course was Macro, it focused on more general aspects of the economy. Now at a dinner I can engage in informed discussion about present day occurrences. I can also understand exactly why it isn't bad for the economy to have companies who outsource jobs.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to your professor. In fact, take extra steps to gain personal assistance if you are struggling. You can't succeed with background knowledge in this subject.
