    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Wiskur is great professor whose pace allows for students to keep up. She hand writes notes and explains what she is thinking instead of just using powerpoints.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed mechanisms because they did not involve too much memorization. It was a lot more about the natural movement of electrons and why they behaved the way they did (always has to do with stability).

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to get David Klein's Organic Chemistry as a Second language and read along with the class. It really helped me out.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Wiskur is a professor who will take you through all the material at an appropriate pace and is more than fair with the tests and grading system. If you have to take Organic Chem, she is your best bet.

    Course highlights:

We covered basic chemistry from Chem 111 and 112, stereochemistry, and several kinds of reactions and mechanisms.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make your flashcards, study all the way through (cramming will get you nowhere) and learn your pKas at the beginning

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I was an ecology major before this class, and honors college marine bio track with an emphasis in ecology.

    Course highlights:

I have decided the field is circular and people in it (professor fox in particular) are taking out

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

their frustrations on students for having chosen ecology as a (bad) career move.
