    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It's a basic course that all science majors need. If you are just out of high school, however, it can seem boring. Just bear with the course and hang on, you need the credits.

    Course highlights:

In the course, you learn the basics of chemistry. If you took high school chemistry in recent years, the majority of the course is similar material, but it does go into stuff not taught in high school

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study what the professor talks about, and don't be afraid to ask questions, talk to the TAs, SI Leaders, or professor. They are there to help.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Stefik's class is made easier by the Supplemental Instructor because he expects you to practice what’s been taught in class by yourself, and SI leaders provide a good way for students to do that. Expect a decent amount of homework and don’t miss class unless you absolutely can’t help it.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was how many demonstrations Mr. Stefik provided. He went out of his way to show his students how the theories can be applied in real life. Besides that, Mr. Stefik had a box of suggestions for students that were struggling with his course to try and help them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Although this was a semi difficult course, it was a lot of fun and a good introduction to Chemistry. Remember to always do the homework and to practice all you can.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a prerequisite to other courses in my major. It is not optional.

    Course highlights:

The labs were the highlight of this class. I learned not to expect Chemistry to be a walk in the park, but if you put in effort you will be fine.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Attend class and pay attention.
