    Course Overview:

    Dr. McCoy thoroughly explains the general information involved in the career of psychology. The environment is very accepting and positive. The relationship between the student and instructor was very personable and open. Dr. McCoy made herself available for any questions about the discussion and textbook assigned.

    Course highlights:

    I learned about the different branches of psychology. For example, social, child, animal, abnormal psychology, and etc. were all described in this course. This gave me a better understanding of what branch I wanted to pursue for my future career.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study the chapters in the textbook prior to each lecture. Also, communicate with the instructor if there are any misunderstandings about the material.

    Course Overview:

    It is a very fun class and you learn a whole lot about how people's minds work which is very interesting and amazing. I highly reccomend this if you ever are going to work with people.

    Course highlights:

    My proffessor is a goofball which makes it so much more fun to learn, helping me have more motivation for that class. I learned that I wanted to major in Psychology after taking this course.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure you take good notes, and go to the review sessions. There is a lot of information, and it's all important. Also, make sure you dont miss too many days.

    Course Overview:

    She is one hilarious woman! She always has an interesting or silly story to make us laugh in every lecture. She also provides us with study night before we take our exams, which I find are extremely helpful.

    Course highlights:

    I gained knowledge about the general things of psychology like the four different lobes of the brain. She goes into depth about every topic discussed in the course, for example Learning. It was the hardest topic I have learned thus far in life and she thoroughly explained it.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure you listen in class. Also READ THE TEXTBOOK! The textbook shouldn't collect dust! It is a useful resource.
