    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend if you are looking for a deep understanding of the basis of psychology. It's less informative than the high school CP Psychology class I have taken. If you are looking for an easy A and do not care, I would take this. I do not recommend this teacher either.

    Course highlights:

It is definitely an easy class, so that is a highlight that it bumps my GPA. You learn the basics: conditioning, parts of the brain, etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't rely on what you've learned in class. You will need to read the chapters. Do the extra credit, it's simple.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learnt so much during this course! My professor was very open to questions and she was also super interactive with the class. It was an open, nourishing environment for learning.

    Course highlights:

A personal highlight for me is when I learnt about schizophrenia. I know people who are affected by it so it was great to learn more about what exactly goes on with them and why. Professor Hiles also answered additional questions I had on it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Use the textbook, study the vocabulary words (you'll see them I promise), take notes on everything...even if it's not in the PowerPoint, and ask questions!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Interesting subject. Every day you can learn something new.

    Course highlights:

This course gave me more insight of the field of psychology. From the subjects primitive beginnings to the massive field we know today. The course cover many aspects of psychology including: history of psychology, human growth and development, mental disorders and treatments, emotions, sensations and perceptions, learning, social psychology and much more. This course used a variety of techniques to teach the basics of psychology.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of chapter readings and out of class assignments. Do to the abundance of content in psychology, not everything can be taught face to face, it is up to the student to learn about the supplemental material. In addition, don't be afraid to offer your own viewpoints and opinions on material.
