    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Its a great class and professor however, there is a lot of information to cover and learn in such little time. The professor is very nice and tries to help any student that he can but you have to put in the work as well.

    Course highlights:

The highlights was doing the labs because I am a visual person as far as learning. Also, there would be exam reviews that would be handed out before each exam to help the student prepare.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always prepare and read the chapters throughout the class and review the lecture of each class to make sure you comprehend the material that was given. Never procrastinate or else you will fall behind and fail because a;; the material that was covered.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Fieber is fantastic! She expects a lot of her students but if you do the study guides she gives you and you do the reading then you will get a very good grade in the class. She pushes her students but does it to better your college career.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot more than many students learn in an into to biology class. One thing I absolutely love about this class is all the labs we got to do. I learned so much from the hands on activities we got to do. Professor Fieber made this class very enjoyable while giving us so much material which is almost impossible.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study! Make sure you do the study guides. If you have problems with the material go to her office hours. Professor Fieber is always willing to help her students.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Grandiose experience. This professor gave me the interest which taught me to enjoy learning. It's a massive overhaul into what the value of learning is all about. The difference between learning in lecture and at home is the dialogue potential for further understanding. We had such great conversations regarding the subject in that course! Be sure to sit up front! Good luck.

    Course highlights:

You learn all about the basic overhead of biology. Ranging from Earth and its levels of existence (molecule - biosphere) all the way down to atoms, then build back up to the ending where we are left puzzling over how DNA can be so unique to each, yet so similar, and overall advanced. Lab was an experience too. You learn that you must maintain patience for results, it's not always going to be fun if you can't find a way to make it so!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to skim each chapter before going over it for studying. That way when you read in detail, you are able to pick up on recent memories of what titles were referring to. Sort of like being the audience the first read, then the performer the next. You don't have to read the book, but it goes into such further detail than the lecture and gives good talking points.
