    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because first, it's a requirement to have for most colleges, and two, I find it to be an overall interesting class. I personally enjoy biology because of how it can describe life at the smallest of sizes an how it can pertain to your life. And it's a fairly simple class. Prof. Pilgrim comes up with activities and gives study tips to help students retain what they've learned.

    Course highlights:

You learn the usual basics of cells and life as you would in any biology class, but I've enjoyed learning interesting facts like how different animal species develop gender in strange ways, like a fish changing gender or slugs being hermaphrodites and female hyenas having pseudo-male genitals.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would read the assigned chapters that my professor had listed on his syllabus schedule before next class. Knowing what is already going to be talked about helped give me more confidence to speak out answers, participate in class more, and definitely added reinforcement to what I needed to know for weekly quizzes. There is also a lab taken with the course that you have to attend once a week and it's factored into your overall grade for this class.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class with Ms. McDonald because she is very easy to understand and she always makes sure students understand the material before she moves on. The assignments are easy to understand even if they are a hard topic.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are the cool real-life examples used in the class. For example, last class we watched a video about the importance of bees to our life and the life of plants to our society and economy. It got the class thinking about what they could do to help while also teaching us how pollination works and how important it is to every day life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

TAKE IT!!! It is a really fun class and whatever teacher you get, you will enjoy.
