    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are in the nursing program and have made it this far then keep on going. Do not give up. This is the make it or break it course. This is the final course in the LPN program and the second to last course in the RN program. There is no stopping here. Take it all in and learn as much as you can. Drill your instructors and your clinical instructor for all of their knowledge. Enjoy this because it is what you are going to be doing for the rest of your career.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much more of the critical thinking, interventions, and time management of med-surg. I also learned about maternal newborn and pediatrics in this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is a requirement so give it all you got. It is a make it or break it course. Get with your instructors for all questions. Get with a study partner or study group to talk out your interventions and patient care plan.
