    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would absolutely recommend ITAL 121 with Bertucci. She is an amazing teacher who does a great job of teaching and representing the Italian culture. You learn about a lot about the ways of Italian people, and the homework helps a lot with the tests. The tests are not too bad, and there are not too many.

    Course highlights:

In this course, you are digger deeper into the italian language, with lots of focus on the Imperfect and Passato Prossimo tenses, as well as a large amount of vocabulary. However, by using Quizlet and making sure you do every homework assignment, it is not very hard to get the hang of learning the vocabulary for the tests.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you actually genuinely want to learn a language before you take this course. It is a lot of memorizing since the vocabulary is necessary to succeed. Also, go in with an open mind and don't be afraid to actually speak in Italian in class.
