Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AFAM 201 teaches you so much about African-American history that has been left out of textbooks, and whether you are an African-American or not, the knowledge presented in this course is beneficial to all. So if you are in fact interested in the African-American experience and culture this is the course for you.

    Course highlights:

I won't be finished with this course till the fall, however the highlights so far have been the discussions between all of the students and the professor. I've learned that the first motion picture in America was in fact very racist and so much more. I'm sure that by the time the course ends in the fall I'll have acquired even more knowledge of my people.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The teacher provides great notes, however take extra notes on some of the things he mentions during lecture. he often bases test questions on material that aren't present in notes; he only mentioned them in lecture.
