    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class can be tough but most teachers here do a great job of preparing students if you go to their class!

    Course highlights:

I gained a good knowledge of basic chemistry from this course which helped greatly when I began my upper level chemistry courses.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class, and take advantage of the SI sessions offered by the University.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

teacher was awful. She assumed that you should just get it and doesn't know how to teach at all.

    Course highlights:

I was forced to teach myself and the course was so hard that I learned a tremendous amount and really did master the material.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take it if you don't have to. You will learn a lot but its very tough and she makes things frustrating.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Lovelace is an exceptionally brilliant professor, and knows the material inside-out. The course is interesting without being too difficult, and the workload is easily manageable.

    Course highlights:

I learned numerous concepts pertaining to inorganic chemistry, which will be highly valuable when taking further chemistry classes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend staying on top of all work, and taking the homework seriously. Many test questions are derived in some way from the homework questions.
