    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am currently a senior in high school; therefore, I have not had the opportunity to experience the college atmosphere or any of the classes at USC Aiken. But I have heard several good things about the Sociology program with the concentration in Criminology and Criminal Justice, and it was highly recommended to me by adults and current students.

    Course highlights:

At the moment, I do not know much. I hear that the course itself is centered around Sociology; however, the students are given the opportunity to concentrate on certain courses. I think the biggest highlight would be how rigorous the course is rumored to be and the in-depth information that is taught.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

College is nothing like high school. Make sure to prepare yourself by having the right mindset. There will be good days, and there will be bad days. Do not let the stress overwhelm you. If needed, go back and ask for help. The professors are there to help you. Make sure to pay attention, put an adequate amount of time into studying, and maintain your perseverance.

    Course Overview:

I would because if you enjoy any social working this is great. It's helps you build any social skills. If your going in the social working field with kids and home problem this is awesome.

    Course highlights:

I learned the perspective of everything. The purpose of reality .

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course challenges prior knowledge and thoughts of many issues that other courses wouldn't want to delve into. It is a learning experience for all. The course allows for a lot of in-depth discussion, allowing one a peek into a fellow classmate's beliefs and ideals. This course is not for someone who is easily offended or someone who is quick to anger.

    Course highlights:

This course is challenging, but I have gained a larger and more in-depth understanding and knowledge of many interesting things in the world, such as global economies, cultures, gender and racial inequalities, and so much more. I learned that the world is much larger than the small town I am used to. I also learned that there is a difference between different opinions and opinions that are harmful to a person or group of people.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to anyone considering this course is to take notes on the lecture, not just the powerpoint. The professor has a deeper understanding of the subject matter than what the powerpoint portrays. My other word of advice is to keep up with deadlines and to do work on time, if not earlier. The deadlines creep up quickly, and the assignments cannot be done the night before for the best grade possible.
