    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because of its interesting and interactive nature. I enjoyed the assignments, subject matter, and even the assigned reading.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the discussion about the differences between industrial Japan and China. Often, Asian countries are left neglected in high school history courses so I learned lots of new information about these two countries in this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Record lectures and use them to study for exams. Coordinate with other classmates on group assignments and even when studying for exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I cannot recommend this course enough. For someone who generally hates history class, I have actually enjoyed Ms. Pike's class quite a bit. She gives ample opportunities to succeed, and improve. Her office is always open, and she will really take the time to slow down, and help you if needed.

    Course highlights:

I found the different cultures and their traditions to be pretty interesting. There's was a culture that used to partake in "blood letting" to cleanse themselves for the gods. The would literally take a sharp object such as a piece of glass, cut themselves, and allow their blood to run free. I found this pretty fascinating.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Actually do all of the assignments on connect. It may seem like a lot, but their participation grades - easy 100s, and can really help boost your grade if you don't do so hot on a test.
