    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course helped me realize the Bible more than I have ever really learned it. Dr. Pratt teaches this class with enthusiasm and creates a story for us to listen to and better understand. I've been raised going to church and even am a preachers daughter, but I never really understood everything of God's creation and the stories behind everything until I took this class and now I can related in service now more often.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was seeing Moses' transformation, where he went for a child who was ordered to be put to death to becoming an adopted child in Pharaoh's house. Moses was able to be saved and taken care of by his very own mother until he became a man. Moses never gave up on his people and was willing to kill to fend for his people. He was stubborn and doubted God many times, but soon realized who God really was. He then turned that faith to God's chosen people and even when they doubted God, Moses made sure that he would do the work of the Lord. Even though the first generation died out in the wildness, Moses was still able to lead God's chosen people to the Promised Land.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Follow Dr.Pratt's learning outline, read your texts, and follow along with him in class discussion and you can certainly pass with an A.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to people who want to learn about the Old Testament in the Bible. This is a great course to take to fulfill the religion requirement. It is a bit easier if you have background knowledge of the biblical stories, people, and eras. The professor expects you to pay attention in his class and take notes. He does a final project and gives you plenty of time to complete it. There are great discussions in this class if people are actively involved in group discussions.

    Course highlights:

Group discussions from this class were the highlights in this course. The professor made the material fun to learn and easy to understand. I learned a little more about the biblical eras and biblical figures from the stories in the Old Testament of the Bible.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to the notes, and write down from the PowerPoint presentations. The professor will let you know what you do not need to know and what you will need to refer back to in your notes to study for the upcoming tests. Pay attention to what he writes down on the board and what he says is really important, because that will be on the test as well as what is in the presentation.
