Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Professor Lenz is very adamant about working with his students to ensure that they are getting the best possible lecture. His notes are very thorough and he is quick to respond to your emails with questions. I believe almost any student could be successful in the hands of Mr. Lenz

    Course highlights:

This course was all about the history of our government and how it is ran. Mr. Lenz assigned different articles to read each week about the topic we were going to learn in class. For example, when we covered how the Indians were stripped of their land and moved to reserves, we had readings from interviews of descents of these Indians who told stories of the horrible journeys they faced. While this may seem similar to what each class does, Mr. Lenz kept it real by allowing us to do board discussions to ensure we understood the topic by reading other students perspectives on the reading! This was a very helpful tool when it came to test time.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is very reading oriented. I recommend that you thoroughly read the passages assigned, no matter how irrelevant it may seem. Each paper is going to come in to play at some point in the semester.
