Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would strongly recommend this course because it helps the transition from high school courses to college courses. It helps students to better understand the human mind and actions. If a student is entering this specific field of study or even looking to become a teacher, this is a great class to teach.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was walking out of the classroom with wanting to know more and looking forward to the next class. Another great highlight of this course was the interesting class discussions where the professor opened up the floor for students to express their opinions on a certain topic. This allowed the class to see the differences in people's personalities and mindsets, which is ultimately what psychology is about.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, attend each class with an open and eager mind. The professor teaches and the student must be responsible for taking notes and studying the text. In order to do well on the tests and papers, rewrite notes and participate in class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was my first college course in which I was terrified. Professor Correia did an excellent job in teaching the curriculum for psychology, but also taught his students many life lessons by intertwining it into the studies. He made a two hour class three times a week, a class that I enjoyed going to because of the knowledge I would be sure to leave with.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was walking out of the classroom knowing that Psychology was what I wanted to major in. This course made me renew my love for learning and growing as an adult.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

When considering this course, walk into the classroom with an open and eager mind to learn how the brain and emotions will create who a person will become. Psychology can be tough, but putting forth the effort and research, this class will greatly impact your college life.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

My professor was excellent at teaching at a fast pace in which student could still absorb the information. I would recommend her to any student especially those student who struggle with science.

    Course highlights:

While taking this course I learned many of things, all in which I remember but my favorites that we studied were the different parts of the brain and their functions, and also I really enjoyed understanding the ways of thinking and motivation.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Some tips when considering Psychology 201 is to make a lot of flashcards, also make sure you take the time every day to study, because it is a lot of information but the professor teaches and combines all the subjects smoothly.
