    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because if you're taking it as a high school student it gives you insight into what college is really like. It pushes you as a student to be on top of your work. If you are unfamiliar with analysis it pushes you to focus more on the text so that you can write an analysis and it be correct.

    Course highlights:

As a student I learned how to pay more attention to the text that we had to read, analyzing text for me was really difficult but my teacher pushed me to become better at it. I also learned how to properly fix grammatical and mechanical issues that lied within my essays that I was often unaware of.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In this class, you need a lot of extra time for studying and for completing the assignments in order to succeed. If you do not put time into every text or every assignment you will be thrown off and the class will become too much to handle and the outcome will more than likely not be good. It will result in the failing of the course which is never good.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class had numerous debates, we read many interesting stories, and we were up to date with things currently happening in the news.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to express my opinion and not offend anyone else.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the stories you read for homework, there was always a quiz the very next day.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was a great guide to writing a great essay. I've struggled with essays since grade school, but because of this class, I feel a lot more confident in my abilities. Mr. Watts is a great teacher with a great attitude. He truly cares about how his students learn, not just about the grades his students get.

    Course highlights:

We read interesting stories, got to choose our own topics, and got thorough feedback on our work.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading, even if it's boring for that particular cession. Also, don't be lazy. Putting effort into the rough draft will make the final draft much smoother.
